Well...we created them. And after we created them, they became our friends to help us fight against the Nightmares that were hurting the sleeping worlds. [i.e. he's told people what meow wow does but not how he actually obtained him.] We got stronger together and now we're a really good team. Right?

We fight against the darkness back home. So when Riku and I were traveling through sleeping worlds to protect them from Nightmares and stuff, we would find materials that we could use to create spirits like Meow Wow and Komory. It takes all kinds of stuff but they all have their own looks and personalities.

Leo doesn't respond immediately, though, still looking down at Meow Wow. When he does open his mouth, as if to ask something else, he pauses before any words come out--lifting his head, he turns to stare into the distance? Weird.
But after that, some of the tension seems to leave his shoulders, and he finally holds his hand out for Meow Wow to sniff.]
